    What types of claims does HHC Group negotiate?
    We negotiate any out-of-network claim, including indemnity claims, workers' compensation claims, occupational injury claims, property-casualty claims, and auto health claims. Clients can submit retrospective, concurrent or prospective medical claims.

    How do I know if my claim has been received by HHC Group?
    We will promptly send the client confirmation that the claim was received. Confirmation can be sent via fax or email based on the client's preference.

    Does HHC Group utilize fee schedules for workers' compensation and auto claims?
    Our staff of attorneys, claims analysts, and financial case managers is familiar with the fee schedules and regulations governing workers' compensation and auto claims in states which utilize such a method of reimbursement. We conduct the fee schedule analysis once we receive the claim if a fee schedule applies.

    Does HHC Group charge for claims that cannot be negotiated (i.e, the facility refuses to negotiate)?
    We work on a contingency basis. There is never a charge to the client unless there is a successful negotiation which results in savings for the client.

    How long does HHC Group require to negotiate a claim?
    Our average processing time is three to five days, although certain types of claims may require more time. We work with each client to assure a turnaround time that accommodates their processing and payment schedule.

    How does the client find out about the status of a claim?
    We provide updates as to the status of claims on a regular basis. Clients can be sent statutes in the manner preferable to them (fax, email, telephone, etc.)

    What other services does HHC Group offer?
    We can provide in-service training, account support, and a series of seminars related to billing practices and claims processing. The client can arrange for any of these services to be provided at the client’s convenience.
